Voice Notes from Home

In 2023, I travelled to New Zealand, stopping briefly in Sydney. It was brilliant. All of those thing people say about how rewarding travelling is? All of it's true. Travelling on your own is as hard and fun and adventurous as you'd expect.

What I didn't expect is how much I'd think about home. Not in a homesick way, but it made me consider what I love about Glasgow, Scotland and the friends and family I have there. I felt a pull towards Scotland that didn't make me want to run home, but it did feel good knowing where home was and that it would always be there.

These voice notes are from good friends who shared with me what they'd been up to, and what home is for them.
